Terms & Conditions

This Seiko lens voucher is a thank you promotion from RS Optical Ltd (trading as Eyediology Opticians and Blackheath Eyecare). It gives you a choice of one offer on Seiko spectacle lenses – either 50% off for the original purchaser (up to two uses) or 25% off for a friend or family member. The voucher can be redeemed at either practice and is valid until the expiry date shown.

1. The offers (choose one)

This voucher includes two offers. You must choose one offer only. They cannot both be used.

A) Original Purchaser Offer – 50% off Seiko spectacle lenses (2nd and 3rd pair)
  • For the original purchaser linked to the voucher
  • 50% off Seiko spectacle lenses (lenses only)
  • Can be redeemed up to 2 times
  • Valid on complete spectacles, lenses-only orders and reglazes (Seiko spectacle lenses only)
  • If multiple pairs are purchased in the same transaction, the 50% discount applies to the lowest-value Seiko lens line(s)
  • The 50% discount applies only where the new Seiko lens order is equal to or lower in value than the original Seiko lens purchase linked to the voucher

Using the 50% offer at the initial purchase (no voucher issued)
If you purchase multiple pairs at the initial transaction (before any voucher would normally be issued at collection), the 50% offer may be applied at that initial purchase (to the lowest-value Seiko lens line(s)). If the 50% offer is applied at the initial purchase, no voucher will be issued at collection.

B) Friends & Family Offer – 25% off Seiko spectacle lenses
  • 25% off Seiko spectacle lenses (lenses only)
  • Single use
  • Valid on complete spectacles only (new frame + Seiko spectacle lenses purchased together in the same transaction)
  • Not valid on reglazes or lenses-only orders

2. Passing the voucher on

  • The 50% offer is for the original purchaser only and is not transferable
  • If the 50% offer is used at all (including at the initial purchase), the voucher cannot be passed on for someone else to use the 25% Friends & Family offer

3. What the discount applies to

  • Discount applies to Seiko spectacle lenses only
  • No discount applies to frames, eye examinations, contact lenses, accessories, repairs or services

4. Validity, expiry and payment

  • Voucher is valid until the expiry date written on the voucher (inclusive)
  • To redeem, the order must be paid in full at the time of purchase on or before the expiry date
  • Voucher is invalid from the following day

5. No stacking / combining offers

  • This voucher cannot be used with any other lens offer, promotion or discount
  • EyePlan lens discounts cannot be used at the same time as this voucher
  • Where applicable, EyePlan frame savings may still apply, but we do not apply two discounts to the lens line

6. Eligibility and verification

  • Voucher use is subject to prescription and clinical suitability
  • We verify eligibility using the original purchaser/referrer’s name and the original purchase record/order reference
  • Voucher has no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged for money

7. Made-to-order lenses, changes and issues

  • Spectacle lenses are made to order. Once production has started, changes or cancellations may be limited
  • Your statutory rights are not affected. If there is a fault or non-tolerance issue, we will follow our usual clinical and dispensing process

8. Changes to the offer

RS Optical Ltd reserves the right to refuse the voucher where eligibility cannot be verified and to amend or withdraw the offer at any time, while honouring valid vouchers already issued in line with these terms.

What offers are available?
You can choose one of the following:
  • 50% off Seiko spectacle lenses for the original purchaser (up to 2 uses)
  • 25% off Seiko spectacle lenses for a friend or family member (single use, complete pair only)
Can I use both the 50% and the 25%?

No. It’s either/or.

If any part of the 50% offer is used (even once), the 25% Friends & Family offer is void and cannot be used.

Where can I use it?

At either practice: Eyediology Opticians or Blackheath Eyecare.

What does the discount apply to?

Seiko spectacle lenses only.
It does not apply to frames, eye exams, contact lenses, accessories, repairs or services.

Can I use the 25% voucher on a reglaze (lenses into my own frame)?

No. The 25% offer is only valid on a complete pair (new frame + Seiko lenses in the same transaction).

Can I use the 50% offer on a reglaze or lenses-only order?
Yes. The 50% offer can be used on:
  • complete spectacles
  • lenses-only orders
  • reglazes
    (Seiko spectacle lenses only)
How many times can the 50% offer be used?

Up to 2 times by the original purchaser.

Is there a limit on the 50% discount?

Yes. The 50% offer applies only where the new Seiko lens order is equal to or lower in value than the original Seiko lens purchase linked to the voucher.

If multiple pairs are purchased in one transaction, 50% applies to the lowest-value Seiko lens line(s).

Can the 50% be applied at the initial purchase?

Yes, if you purchase multiple pairs in the initial transaction, the 50% may be applied then (to the lowest-value Seiko lens line(s).

If the 50% is applied at the initial purchase, no voucher will be issued at collection.

Can I use this voucher with other offers or EyePlan discounts?

No, offers can’t be stacked on the lens line.

EyePlan lens discounts can’t be used at the same time as this voucher. Where applicable, EyePlan frame savings may still apply.

When do I need to pay to use the voucher?

To redeem the voucher, the order must be paid in full at the time of purchase on or before the expiry date.

What if I’ve lost my voucher?

We may still be able to apply it if we can verify eligibility using the original purchaser/referrer’s name and the original purchase record.

Is it transferable or can I take cash instead?

No. The voucher is non-transferable, has no cash alternative and can’t be exchanged for money.

What if I need to change my order?

Spectacle lenses are made to order, so changes may be limited once production has started. If you’re unsure, tell us before we place the order and we’ll do our best to help.

Do I get a voucher with every purchase?

No. While the promotion is running vouchers are only issued when a complete pair of spectacles are ordered (new frame and new lenses).
