This technique allows for greater access to the internal structure of the eye and can lead to a more detailed assessment where required. Usually a follow up examination to your main sight test, your optometrist will advise if this is required dependent on any discoveries during the eye test.

Having large pupils will make you more sensitive to light, especially if it is sunny, so bringing sunglasses can often be helpful.

Your vision will be a little blurry after the appointment so please avoid driving during this time, the effect may last for up to 6 hours.
