A screw on my glasses came loose and a lens dropped out, minutes before I had to board my train from Glasgow to London. Luckily Google maps pointed me to Eyediology Opticians, who saved the day by carrying out a repair. I was looked after with care, empathy and good humour. They refused payment too which was very generous. The business was holding a special promotion for sunglasses when I was there, so please go and have a look and a consultation. Independent businesses deserve support particularly those with a kind heart and a willingness to assist a traveller in distress! Excellent range of frames and expert help from the team. The service on my visit was open, understanding and not at all pushy. Picked up my new glasses today and would highly recommend.

I have been going to Eyediology for well over a decade now. The staff there have always been very kind, and helpful. They are really professional and knowledgeable. A couple of months back I visited because I needed a replacement nose pad and plastic sleeves for the ends of the arms on my Lindberg glasses. Dispensing Optician, Ruairidh was really friendly and helpful. He replaced both nose pads and kindly gave me extras of the arm sleeves. As ever, it was a pleasure to visit Eyediology. Thank you!

I managed to hit myself in the face with a barbell at a nearby gym (I know, not brilliant). My glasses have a safety spring that causes them to fly to pieces rather than break in this situation. I didn’t purchase my glasses from Eyediology (or in the U.K.) but the manufacturer had them listed as a dealer. 10 minutes walk from the gym, 10 minutes in the store and I was sorted for an important dinner meeting. They would not accept payment. I don’t know what to say beyond thank you for going far beyond expectations. Excellent establishment, lovely people.

Brilliant service from Mainika at Eyediology ! I recently purchased a pair of Lunor specs from there. Mainika was really helpful in helping me pick a pair of frames that suited me and gave great honest style advice. She was really friendly and it was a pleasure dealing with her. I would highly recommend a visit to the shop as they have a great selection of frames from independent brands.
